At first I used grey colours similar to those used in the Disney illustrations, but I didn’t think it was dreamy enough, not like a fantasy parallel world, so I referred to Guan Mumu’s colours and chose bright greens and blues, yellows and browns of similar brightness and different shades. The colours of the leaves are bright yellow and white to show the layering of the space in terms of colour.

The gold-coloured decorations on the left and right sides of the illustration were drawn because I wanted it to look more like a card, and even separated in the middle to be used as a diffuser when printed out. To make the illustration look more finished, I added stars butterflies, and trees to create a forest feel.

Infinity Nikki is a 3D exploration of a big world dress-up game developed by Stacked Paper Games, in which I found the inspiration to dress me for the runway. Especially the dress  colour and the hair colour, because the whole outfit is mainly green and at the beginning of the draft I had four hair colours which would appear as drawings later on in my process. I ended up choosing between green hair and also blonde hair, and since I didn’t have a physical picture to compare it to, I chose the green colour to be more appropriate in Infinity Nikki using the characters in it in the same scene and lighting.

After deciding on the style and pattern of the dress I place an order for the desired accessories and materials for the dress.
